Second in the three-part adaptation by David Nokes and Janet Barron of Samuel Richardson's classic 18th-century novel, starring Sean Bean, Saskia Wickham

Cathryn Harrison, granddaughter of the late Sir Rex, was recently seen in BBC2's Portrait of a Marriage and the ITV series Soldier, Soldier. Tonight she plays the sly landlady Mrs Sinclair, in whose elegant house the runaway Clarissa feels very ill at ease.
