Leprosy is one of the most dreaded diseases. Until recently there was no cure. Even today a man who has leprosy can be shunned and treated as a social outcast. The Consultant Psychiatrist discusses the problem with an Englishman who caught the disease in Calcutta and a doctor who has devoted his life to the treatment and welfare of patients.
