Roy Lancaster and Alan Titchmarsh take an entertaining look at the National Garden Festival, Stoke-on-Trent.
The garden festival is both a spectacular display of flowers and a highly entertaining event for the whole family.
With hot-air balloons, steam trains, canal boats, street musicians, groups and clowns, there's bound to be something to enthrall all ages. Situated on the site of the old Shelton Steel Works, 66 acres of derelict land have been reclaimed and transformed into a horticultural paradise, and with over 80 different gardens ranging from Elizabethan walks to Tudor knot gardens, and right up to date with gardens for the 80s, there are thousands of good ideas for both the serious and not-too-serious gardener.
