England v France; Scotland v Ireland
Today's two matches represent the halfway stage of the Championship: at Twickenham thousands of French supporters must have hoped that England's resurgence against Ireland will not have continued to blight their title aspirations for the second year running; whilst at Murrayfield Scotland must have taken the field wondering just what they had to do to gain a championship point when, after great performances against France and Wales, they found themselves in isolation at the bottom of the table.
