Oldham Michael was considered to be a difficult child, involved in truancy and solvent abuse. He was taken into care at an early age, but since being given the opportunity at the age of 12, he has championed the cause of young people and is now chairman of the National Committee of NAYPIC
(National Association of Young People in Care).
