St. James's Cathedral, Toronto
With an address by the Most Rev. Derwyn T. Owen , Archbishop of Toronto and Primate of all Canada
A regular feature of the BBC's Overseas Service is the special religious service broadcast each Sunday from this country to the whole Empire. These broadcasts cannot be heard by the ordinary listener at home, though some shortwave listeners may have picked them up. Today the position is reversed, and all listeners to the Home Service will be able to hear this service from Toronto, with the knowledge that it is being heard throughout the Empire.
