Sunday Grandstand

on BBC Two England

Introduced by Steve Rider from Royal Troon, Ayrshire.
Golf: the Open Live coverage of the final round of the 126th Open championship, from Royal Troon. American Tom Lehman started the final day last year six shots ahead of Nick Faido. Faldo was unable to make up the deficit and Lehman survived, despite a wobble or two and good challenges from Ernie Els and Mark McCumber , to win his first major. This year's American challenge is headed by new sensation Tiger Woods but Lehman is back to defend his title and McCumber will be hoping to go one better than last year. South Africa's Ernie Els will also be expected to be among the front-runners after his triumph in last month's US Open. Commentary by Peter Alliss , Alex Hay , Dave Marr , Mike Hughesdon ,
Beverly Lewis , Peter Thomson , Peter Oosterhuis , Gary Wolstenholme and Dougie Donnelly. Television presentation John Shrewsbury and Alastair Scott
