George Plimpton is an amateur of many worlds. He has played a bit-part in a John Wayne movie and is familiar to American viewers for his have-a-go-at-anything approach. Tonight Man Alive hands over to Plimpton as he joins a trapeze act with a travelling circus.
After ten days' training George Plimpton, in a packed big top, has a go on the flying trapeze.
