Second of a three-part documentary series.
Red Sea Rift. Thousands of miles of coral wall, atolls, fringing reefs and sheltered lagoons give the Red Sea a spectacular underwater landscape. This is a journey of exploration from the plankton-rich southern waters inhabited by vast schools of barracuda and shark, along the coral canyons of the central Red Sea to the great meadows of sea grasses in the north. Among spectacles filmed for the first time is the synchronised feeding behaviour of groups of 20 or more manta rays. Narrated by Robert Powell.
