African Summer: African Political Broadcast

on BBC Two England

This ten-part series gives African political figures a rare opportunity to address the British public on a key issue facing their continent. The first programme features the former President of Zambia, Kenneth Kaunda, who at the age of 71 has decided to make a political comeback. He explains his belief that there are some circumstances in which Africans are forced to resort to the bullet rather than rely on the ballot.
