For contemporary designers, scrap metal, plastic, wood - even fish skeletons - can provide the basic materials for exciting jewellery. Jane Adam is a young jeweller who has already made an international name for herself. She discovered a technique for printing and dyeing the surface of anodised aluminium to produce a silk-like finish in delicate colours.
