During his two years as BBC Staff Theatre Organist Reginald Foort has given 405 broadcasts, either solo or with other artists, to Home and Empire. He has introduced 72 guest organists to the BBC Theatre Organ and has put on many popular shows, such as ' Rhythm Music', ' The Organ, the Dance Band, and Me ', Radio Song Sheets', and such novelty shows as ' My Dream Garden ', ' Musical ABC ', ' Fan-Mail Favourites ', and ' Melodies of the Moment'.
Foort, who claims that these two years have been the happiest and busiest of his life, is looking forward to broadcasting quite frequently in the future, both on the BBC Theatre Organ and on his new travelling organ. So that although he is bidding an official farewell tonight, he will be. keeping well in touch with all his radio friends.
