Her Majesty the Queen visits Aberystwyth to open the completed building of the National Library of Wales

Her Majesty responds to Loyal Addresses delivered in English by the President of the National Library of Wales, Lord Harlech, K.G., G.C.M.G., LL.D., D.C.L., F.S.A. and in Welsh by Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards

Today Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh continue their tour of Wales with a visit to Aberystwyth. Television Outside Broadcast cameras at the Library will show viewers the arrival of Her Majesty and the ceremonies inside the building.
