Kingsley Amis at Batemans
Rudyard Kipling has given more memorable phrases to the English language than almost any 20th-century writer. But because they're so often quoted out of context he's been more often misunderstood than almost any English writer. Kingsley Amis visits Batemans, the Jacobean house in Sussex where Kipling spent the last 30 years of his life, and tries to clear up some of the misunderstandings.
