Sport Fishing Down Under
Australia is fast becoming one of the finest sport-fishing centres in the world. From the idyllic waters surrounding the Great Barrier Reef come some of the most impressive fighting fish in the ocean. Among them is the giant black marlin, quarry of the rich; the sailfish which can tailwalk across the ocean for a hundred metres at a time; the giant yellow fin tuna, capable of speeds of 50 miles an hour; and there are the giant brown trout of Lake Pedda in Tasmania.
Malcolm Florence has been fishing these waters for much of his life and now shares some of the most dramatic sport-fishing action ever filmed. Presented for the BBC by CHRIS POWELL
