Jack Carter is a man with a mission. When his brother dies mysteriously in Newcastle, he travels north to find out what happened. The sordid conspiracy he uncovers links blue films, the local villains and some 'respectable' citizens in an unholy alliance. When he knows enough, Carter plans and exacts a merciless and murderous revenge.
Michael Caine gives a chilling performance as Carter in this tough and compelling thriller.
