The Sure Thing

A sharp comedy from the director of Stand by Me and When Harry Met Sally. Walter "Gib" Gibson is a college freshman with the usual obsessions, namely junk food and sex. Offered the possibility of a passionate liaison with a "sure thing" in California, he lines up a westbound lift.
However, there's a problem - his driver is Alison, studious and hyper-organised - the total opposite of Gib's ideal woman.
