The second of two Ravel operas in new productions from the Glyndebourne Festival Opera to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the composer's death. This tender and ironic fantasy tells the story of a mischievous child and the revenge exacted on him by his broken playthings.
The staging is by the award-winning team of theatre director Frank Corsaro and author and illustrator
Maurice Sendak.
Sung in French with English subtitles.
