Live from London's West End, Chris Kelly brings a touch of summer to the drabness of winter by introducing the finalists in this the first beauty competition of the New Year. In the attractive Palm Court Lounge, 21 beautiful girls have all been invited to an elegant cocktail party during which one lucky contestant will be crowned Miss Great Britain 1983. The girls can also be seen in their autumn clothes, recorded on location at Leighton Hall , Lancashire.
Interviewing the finalists is Jan Leeming from BBCtv News, while Ray Moore produces all the facts and figures.
