Filson Young: Growing Wings: Happy Landing

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

Under the sub-title 'Happy Landing' Mr. Filson Young will give his final talk about his experiences while learning to fly. This evening, too, he will bring to the microphone his instructor, Captain Baker, and introduce him to listeners.
Captain Baker is one of the most famous and most successful flying instructors. He has taught many of the celebrities who have learnt to fly.
Tonight he will tell listeners what he thinks about his latest pupil, and, of course, his latest pupil will have something to say about him.
Mr. Filson Young seems to have made really extraordinary progress. No doubt he will soon be as happy flying in the air as he is speaking over it-
