' A Prairie Parson and his
Problems'
The Rev. H. G. G. Herklots
From time to time talks are given in the Missionary series especially about the work among our own people overseas. The Rev. H. G. G. Herklots , who is to speak on 'A Prairie Parson and his Problems has recently become Rector of Flixton, near Manchester, after a considerable period of service in Canada.
He was Canon of St. John's
Cathedral, Winnipeg, and Professor of Exegetical Theology in St. John's College in that city. In the course of his work he visited and was in continual touch with the work of the Anglican Church throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. He is a lively speaker and writer, as those who have heard him or read his books such as 'Jack of All Trades ', ' Paper Aeroplanes ', and ' My First Winter ' will know.
Mr. Herklots was born in India, went to Trinity College, Cambridge, and was trained at Ridley Hall , before serving for three years as curate at Holy Trinity, Marylebone, and then going to Canada.
