First showing on network television for Fernando Solanas's acclaimed film, which ends the Discovering Latin America season.
Starring Miguel Angel Sola

Exile and homecoming are the themes of this haunting film: its rich visual imagery and striking soundtrack won Solanas the Best Director award at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival. He was later shot and wounded by reactionaries after a disagreement with Argentina's President Menem. Floreal has served five years in prison for subversion. On his release he tries to come to terms with his wife's infidelity and the lost years. Partly in Spanish with English subtitles.
