Heart of the Angel
Every day the Angel tube station in London struggles to cope with its load of 15,000 commuters. Overburdened lifts break down; weary travellers lose their tempers. At night, like moles, the 'fluffers' emerge to clean the tracks. Human hair is the main fire hazard. And much of it has been torn out by frustrated staff who try to keep smiling through all the traumas. Producer Molly Dineen Editor Caroline Pick
