Horizon: The Physicist in the Kitchen

on BBC Two England

Horizon - Man and Science today

A lecture with demonstrations by Professor Nicholas Kurti, F.R.S. from the Royal Institution, London.

Nicholas Kurti, Professor of Physics at the Clarendon Laboratory, Oxford, specialises in the field of low temperature science. He is acknowledged among his friends as an expert in the kitchen. It is the ingredient of this additional accomplishment plus his scientific knowledge which he blends together and serves up for our consideration. The programme is a recording of another discourse from the Royal Institution which took place on Friday, March 14, 1969, before an audience of members and their guests.
