A concert given last night at the Royal
Festival Hall, London. The theme of the programme is "Transformations" -how composers take music written by a composer from another era and transform it into something new. The concert is part of the South Bank festival Voices: Henze at 75, and features the UK premiere of Hans Werner Henze 's treatment of Wagner's early German and French songs.
