The Natural World

on BBC Two England

Ice Fox
An animal of endurance and ingenuity, the Arctic fox seems to thrive on the very edge of existence. Only the size of a pet cat, and with a wonderfully well insulated fur coat, the ice fox can survive in 70 degrees of frost and bitter winds that seem to tear the land apart. Tonight's film follows the fortunes of two fox families, revealing triumph and tragedy as they battle to survive another northern year. Narrated by Bob Peck.
