A film first shown on BBC East opens a 13-part run of documentaries and investigations from the BBC Regions.

Stephen Kirby was terribly burned and died of his injuries six weeks after trying, in vain, to save his son Alexander when fire broke out on a family holiday in France. His widow Kim has fought for a national skin bank, so others might have a better chance of surviving burns. Chris Mohr reports.
