Dan Cruickshank makes his way from Wales through the Midlands to Lancashire and the Lake District as he retraces Claude Friese-Greene's epic car journey from the tip of Cornwall to John o' Groats. On the way, he finds descendants of people featured in footage shot by the pioneering film-maker. One of them is Grace, now in her late 80s, who was orphaned soon after the film was made. She talks about what happened to her family.
