Jazz pianist Earl Hines was also a bandleader of note.
In the fourth of six programmes, Alun Morgan recalls Hines's activities in the 50s, when he was involved mainly with the more traditional side of jazz, first with Louis Armstrong and the All-Stars Band, then with his own Dixieland Band at the Hanover Club in San Francisco.
