Many customs associated with the New Year are an entertaining excuse for a good time. In South Wales they still carry a decorated horse's skull around the farms. houses and taverns of some villages, competing in verse with the inhabitants in order to gain entry for revelry.
Tonight. Wynford Vaughan-Thomas. Ray Handy Carys Pugh. Ar Leg and Harrl Webb use a similar excuse, with stories, poetry. and songs to open up one of Glamorgan's taverns.
