There is trouble in the town of Gunstock: the Sheriff and all the trades-people are threatened by crooks. The Sheriff refuses to send for help because his son is held as hostage by the bandits, but the son manages to send a coded message to his father. The Lone Ranger and Tonto come to the rescue and find the hide-out of the crooks.
