played by Melsa Born in Warsaw, Daniel Melsa studied in Berlin and made his debut with great success at the Beethoven Saal. During the season 1913-14 Melsa gave six recitals in London, and when the war was over he returned to tour most of the important musical centres in Britain. After touring America and the East he settled in England permanently.
