Drama, based on the autobiographical novel by Tobias Wolff, starring Robert De Niro, Ellen Barkin, Leonardo DiCaprio
Seattle in the late fifties: jobless Caroline Wolff is wooed by bumbling Dwight Hansen, and she accepts his offer of marriage in the hope that it will bring some order into the life of her rebellious teenage son, Toby.
But conflict soon develops between son and stepfather, and Caroline discovers that Dwight has a darker side to his nature. Widescreen.
