An exploration in Derbyshire with W. G. Hoskins
3: No Stone Unturned
The peaks and vales of Derbyshire and the placid slow-running Derwent seem at first to be untouched by man's handiwork. Yet these are the landscapes of two industries-one dead and the other very much alive. PROFESSOR WILLIAM HOSKINS shows US how these industries produced their own landscape and also how, in a curious hidden way, both are linked together.
