'A Wonderful Week-end'

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

(See, top of page)
A romantic comedy with music, with a straightforward plot of the 'dream come true ' variety. The wonderful week-end of the heroine is the prelude to what is presumably a wonderful wedding and married life, but one never knows in romantic comedy. What is certain is light-hearted entertainment, from a witty book and score to match by a composer new to the B.B.C. staff, but not to programmes. Curtain !
