Music in Camera: Vivaldi Concertos

on BBC Two England

Antonio Vivaldi wrote over 500 solo and ensemble concertos. Over the next four weeks young international soloists, accompanied by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, bring a flavour of Venice to Music in Camera with a varied cross section of these delightful works. The series opens with the first broadcast performance of a violin concerto discovered in Manchester in 1973.
