CLARE FRANCIS and her crew of 11 sail in a race around the world, against the clock, with 14 rarely seen competitors in this special two-part programme.
The event was the 1977/78 Whitbread Round-the-World Yacht Race-27,000 miles and seven months through some of the most notorious stretches of ocean in the world, filmed by Skipper Clare herself and members of her crew.
