HRH The Princess Anne opens the Erskine High Level Bridge

on BBC Two England

One hundred and eighty feet above the River Clyde, with a 1,000-foot centre span, the new bridge at Erskine is the latest of three crossings of the river.

Her Royal Highness is flying over by helicopter from the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and will literally be dropping in to meet some of the patients at Erskine Hospital for disabled ex-servicemen in the shadow of the new bridge.
