Polar Bear Alert

on BBC Two England

Polar bears are among the world's most dangerous animals. For most of the year they are out on the ice of Hudson Bay - until it melts, when they come ashore and Churchill,
Manitoba, becomes reluctant host to them for two months. They saunter down Main Street, plunder the rubbish dump, and break into homes - posing problems for the Bear Patrol.
