on BBC Two England

Introduced by Frank Bough

The 1968 season saw a resurgence of cricketing success for Nottinghamshire: under the captaincy of the finest all-round cricketer in the world, Gary Sobers, they became one of the most effective sides in the Championship.
Hampshire, led for the fourth successive season by another West Indian, Roy Marshall, are a side capable of producing first-rate entertainment especially if the dynamic South African batsman Barry Richards is in form.
The commentary team at Trent Bridge, Nottingham: John Arlott, Richie Benaud, Jim Laker
Today's other fixtures: Glamorgan v. Somerset, Gloucestershire v. Essex, Lancashire v. Derbyshire, Surrey v. Kent, Warwickshire v. Northamptonshire,
