Though still under 30, PINCHAS ZUKERMAN is one of the world's greatest violinists. This highly-praised film, previously shown in Omnibus, traces his development from his birth in Israel in 1948 to the present day. Filmed in Europe and America, it includes tape recordings from the age of nine and filmed performances from the age of 19, as well as his official New York debut. Zukerman plays music by ten different composers -among them Bach, Beethoven and Schubert.
