Satirical drama starring

Debra Winger , Uam Neeson Preaching and purporting to perform "miracles" wherever his tent pitches, Jonas Nightengale is really a cynical con man aiming to fleece the faithful, aided by a well-drilled crew under the watchful eye of his assistant Jane. However, their arrival in Rustwater, Kansas, marks a turning point in Jonas's criminal career. He is intrigued by an attractive waitress who rebuffs his advances, while he and Jane musttackle the local sheriff.
