Kidnapped

on BBC Two England

A Money Programme film that investigates if it is safe for Britons to work abroad, illustrated by the case of three British telecommunications workers and a New Zealander who were murdered in 1998 after going to work in Chechnya.
Lou Petschi, who has spent the years since trying to find out the truth about her husband Rudi's death, journeys through Britain and eastern Europe as she tries to establish if the companies who sent Rudi to the war-ravaged republic provided proper security and who, ultimately, carried out murders for which no one has stood trial.
