George Sanders , Joan Greenwood Young John Mohune comes to the village of Moonfleet after his mother's death seeking Jeremy Fox, the man she had loved. But the boy soon discovers that Fox, a rake and a dandy, is also the leader of a band of smugglers.
Fritz Lang's film version of J. Meade Faulkner's famous adventure story is a stylish and highly atmospheric gothic melodrama.
