Masterclass Giselle with Dame Alicia Markova
DAME ALICIA is recognised as one of the greatest interpreters of the role of Giselle. In tonight's masterclass she coaches Margaret Barbieri and David Ashmole of the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet in part of the second act of this beautiful romantic ballet.
At the end of the masterclass, Clement Crisp, Ballet Critic of the Financial Times, talks to Dame Alicia about her own approach to Giselle.
