Bach and Beyond. Verity Sharp introduces a concert featuring excerpts from Mauricio Kagel 's Chorbuch-a colourful reworking of Bach's chorale settings. The concert also includes Poul Ruders 's reworking of Jesu, Joy of Man 's Desiringand the Brandenburg-related Concerto Fribourgeoisfor piano and strings by Jose de Almeldo Prado. Plus recently composed or newly commissioned Christmas carols, including ones by Steve Martland and Judith Bingham.
