Peter Alliss recalls two superb days of golf in the 1979 season. The final day of the Open at Royal Lytham and St Annes when SEVERIANO BALLESTEROS won the 108th Open Championship in his own swashbuckling manner. The epic 36-hole final in the Suntory World Match Play Championship at Wentworth between the holder ISAO AOKI of Japan and the quiet American BILL ROGERS.
