The discovery of an old map launches US adventurer Barry Clifford on a quest to find the remains of a lost French fleet that disappeared off the Venezuelan coast over 300 years ago. To his astonishment, the map is more accurate than he could ever have imagined and the terrible fate of the sailors becomes frighteningly clear.
