A documentary film featuring the famous French cellist at home with his musical family.
Tortelier's series of BBC Television Master Classes have brought him widespread admiration and affection.
He has also recently taken a year off from the concert platform to complete a new book and to indulge his great passion for composing. In this informal film he plays music by Faure Saint-Saëns ,, and Sarasate and some of his own compositions together with his wife, son and daughter.
