Night-club singer May Daly Is determined to marry for money, and she has plenty of offers from her millionaire admirers. There are also plenty of less well-off suitors - among them composer Alec Howe whom she loves -just to complicate her life. Naturally, all ends happily in this song-filled screen version of the Broadway show, which features a sumptuous fantasy sequence in the Court of Louis XV.
